The beach of fishermen and cyclists
Almayate has two loyal communities visiting year-round: the rod fishermen who cast from the shore at first light, and the cyclists working their way along the Axarquía coastline. Neither group is in any hurry. The beach is long, the wind almost always blows, and silence is what defines this place out of season.
