Playas Costa del Sol is an independent guide to the beaches of Málaga province, written from the Axarquía by people who live on this coast rather than visit it.
How we build our pages
Every beach page combines verifiable data — coordinates, length, facilities, awards, transport — with editorial judgement about what a beach is actually like: how crowded it gets, whether the seabed is comfortable, whether it is worth the drive. We say when a beach has no lifeguard, no shade or a shingle bottom, because that is the information that changes your day.
How the site pays for itself
We use affiliate links for accommodation and activities, and display advertising. If you book through one of our links we receive a small commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate links are always marked as such.
What we do not do is let that change what we write. A beach does not get a better write-up because there is something to sell on it.
Corrections
Facilities change, Blue Flags are lost and won, and car parks get built. If you find something out of date on this site, tell us — we would rather fix it than defend it.
