Beaches in Casares

Casares has roughly two kilometres of coastline between Estepona and Manilva. Better known for its white hilltop village, its coast packs several different settings into a short distance: Playa Ancha, the historic Torre de la Sal area, Piedra Paloma and Playa Chica.How the beaches differTorre de la Sal visually divides the coastline. To the east lie the Jordana stream mouth and Piedra Paloma, the natural boundary with Estepona. To the west are Playa de la Sal and Playa Chica, followed beyond the Parrilla stream by Playa Ancha, which reaches the Manilva river.Planning your visitStart with Playa Ancha if facilities are the priority. For a coastal walk and a stronger sense of place, the Torre de la Sal area is the more distinctive choice.
